Caroline is a young girl, recently turned 19, living alone in the forests around the small village of Valewood. She's reclusive, choosing to pay little attention to the men and women of that forsaken village unless she's in dire need of supplies that she can't make or gather herself. Caroline is young to be alone, but after her and her mother's murder on her 16th birthday she's never trusted another human again. Like many would assume, Caroline spends her days tending to her gardens, feeding her livestock, harvesting their goods, and practicing her spells and potions. She wants to be left alone to survive without people poking their noses into her business.

Caroline is a introverted loner, she's standoffish and has a habit of putting up high walls around anyone that meets her. Her childhood taught her to trust no one and to only look out for herself and work for personal gain. Because of her past and difficulty trusting strangers, she has very few friends and acountances.

The people of Valewood speak, they gossip and blabber to their hearts content. Caroline is unbothered by their drama and opinions, she has more important things to do and a farm to tend to. She does see the looks she gets when she enters the village for a supply run, but she just doesn't care.

Upon meeting Caroline for the first time, you'd note her soft drawled voice and her observant glances. Caroline makes mental notes of a lot of thing about a person, specifically their intent and if they have weapons near them. Beyong that she's cold, will push you away and keep you at a good 100ft away at all times.

After her mothers death Caroline hasn't had many hope or dreams that she thought would become true. She shifted her focus from her childish wishes to raising herself and upkeeping the cabin. If she could have kept her childhood dream, it would be to travel the kingdom and see new sights. She'll say she doesn't care now, but she enjoyed seeing new things while traveling with Luther.

Fears

Death. Caroline fears death, it goes beyond the normal level. Everyone fears death, the unknown and end of it all, but for Caroline it's very much a primal fight or flight if and when she comes close to death. She theorizes that it has to do with everything that happened on her 16th birthday.

Habits

Most of Caroline's habits are more subtle and easily overlooked. Her biggest ones being the subconscious habit to adjust her neck covering and re tucking her bangs behind her ears.

Secrets

Ever since she was a child, Caroline's mother told her to keep her powers on the downlow and to keep her head down. Her lineage is powerful, but hated. She in herslef is a secret.

Caroline's design is important to her story, her lineage, and while very striking compared to most of those in Valewood, they're all inherited traits from her mother and her mothers mother and so on. They're products of her bloodline and draws both respect and glares.

Aesthetic

Caroline wears simple outfits, normally consisting of dresses with long sleeves, tall socks, and high collars. She doesn't enjoy showing skin, so she makes sure to dress in clothes that keep her mostly covered. She wears a lot of fabrics dyed a soft purple color, dyed from a dye she makes herself with lavender and purple cabbages. Beyond that, she's not too picky on what she wears.

Mole under the corner of her right eye.

Accessories

Caroline has two main accessories: a red shard of an unknown crystal she keeps on a cord necklace that she wears at all time, and a ribbon or band of fabric that she ties around her throat when she's not wearing a highcollared outfit.

Scars

Outside of small scars on her hands, knees, and arms from manual labor around the cabin the only important scar on Caroline's body is a long cut across the front of her throat.

Caroline is not a fighter, but she can and will fight if need be. The only weapon she knows how to use is a knife or dagger, besides her magic of course. Shadow Blades is a power that lets Caroline summon a set of spectral daggers made of the darkness of the Moon. They're freezing cold, and sharper than any mortal made blade, but she still isn't the best at hand to hand combat which makes them lacking.
