crystal boy became so obsessed with his own appearance that he had to be perfect. he was extremely vain and hateful and wanted to be the best. one day, he ended up in a dangerous crystal cave, and fell to his death. his body was crystallized overtime but he was later revived by the energy in the crystals. but with the crystals grown within his mortal wounds, removing them would kill him again, leaving him with a wretched reminder of the cruel irony for his vanity.
