He´s a man of habits. He likes certain things and those preferences don´t change as time passes. He likes t-shirts with stupid inscriptions, has a collection of sweatshirts of all colors and likes to collect books from the best literature, to mediocre current literary triumphs. He also has its oddities, if he finds a unique book he makes a copy of it so it never disappears from that world. Gideon wears a coat even in summer and likes only one type of blood. Vampires like him, free from the obligations of their species, live to their liking. He doesn´t need to respect the aristocratic conception of himself, since for him the actuality is much more entertaining. He changes residence and country every little time, has knowledge of several languages and even manages to find the richness of several cuisines in the world.

The carefreeness and good sense of humor, someone could say that Gideon enjoys the fullness of life. However, " I laugh because I must not cry" is a quote that identifies what he truly feels. Avoid vampire meetings and even contact them casually, because only they know the tragedy that happened in his life and they always remember it, either through irony or as a way of comforting.

Although he seems someone sociable and friendly, he doesn´t let friendship make roots in his heart. If there is no one to whom you´ve affection, you´ll not suffer by losing it. Such a human fear is part of his essence.

He loves animals and cannot resist if he sees a stray cat, dog, bird, etc., pick it up and every time he moves from the country, it becomes chaos. "The crazy man of animals", "The walking zoo", are the nicknames he heard in many of the airports.  11 cats, 4 dogs, a crow, an eagle, two parakeets, 1 parrot, 2 rabbits, 1 hedgehog, 3 ferrets, 1 iguana, 4 snakes, 1 raccoon... that is why it isn´t surprising that when they see him entering the airport, all kinds of confusion begin. However, he always hires special transportation for them with a kind of caregiver who stays on guard.

He has several apartments and houses all over the world, his age allows it. He was heavily criticized for selling the palace in Reims that belonged to him, as it was what remained of his aristocratic position. Gideon saw no sense in a cold set of stones, which in its greatness only conveyed loneliness of its owner. It was a materialized memory of the worst years of his life, but also of the best.
