Profile
Iori is a meek, naive, and a weak-willed child. He is the second child of the prominent, respected Mizuno Group's founder, that owns multiple businesses and a well known hospital in Japan.
He often feels pressured because of oher's expectations of him as the second son. His father a leader of the business, and both his mother and older brother respected doctors in their hospital. Iori never had the courage to say that his dream was not something like treating patients, but he wanted to pursue the entertainment business instead. However, he noticed that as a child he shouldn't make decisions that might upset his family until he was really sure of it. So as for now, he will stay silent.
The word "Responsibility" is a word Iori dislikes. So when one day he became a Mahou Shounen and received the responsibility to protect citizens and his comrades from the monsters, Bobopolos, he felt like it was a punch in the gut to stop avoiding responsibilities and quit running away from reality, although it was hard to accept and swallow.
Because of his background, the kids at school often put him on a pedestal as the second son of a somewhat rich family. As a result, he couldn't speak to his classmates very well. though some people admire him, some people also dislike him because they think that Iori thought of himself as someone better than them. With this, he decided to spend lunchtime at somewhere quiet instead.
Iori's childhood friend and classmate at school. Somehow polar opposites but they get along well. Already used to how blunt Esper is, and sometimes don't understand the heavy and complicated things he often says. He nods and smiles at it anyway. Though Esper probably knows he's just pretending to understand.
Iori's cheerfull classmate, Shun. Hanging out with him gives Iori back some of his energy because of how bright the kid is. Gets along well with him and Iori likes to share his lunch with him when they do eat lunch together. Met at school but only actually involved himself with Shun more after he found out he was also a Mahou Shounen.
.Iori's pet Shiba Inu. Loves him very much and even considers him as a friend. At times, Iori has a feeling that Maru understands what he's feeling.
