Personality
Alphonse is the type of joker who makes all the dad jokes and kind of acts like your second dad. He'll make all the dad jokes, he'll care about you, and he'll let you talk to him when you need an ear. He's got a friendly air about him, and he goes to a lot of trouble to make it seem that way because he doesn't want to intimidate anyone. However, sometimes he'll get pretty sassy with people and might accidentally hurt their feelings when doing so, and because of how much work taking care of the Cafe is, he often lacks motivation to do things other than work. He's also very picky about how he spends the hours he's not working (most of the time it's sleeping, tho), and as friendly as he tries to be, he can't help but judge books by their covers, however, he would never vocalize these judgments.
History
Alphonse used to be a martial artist who taught in a dojo where he was incredibly strong. Unfortunately, due to an injury in his spine, he has had to retire from fighting and now spends dreary, tedious days working (and owning) his own cafe. He cooks pastries and breakfast foods and makes coffee, but still longs for the thrill of MMA.
