BACKGROUND |
formerly a young genius engineer under the employ of the faraway [x] kingdom. he designed a large portion of their strongest artillery. a few years prior, he was imprisoned under accusations of treason, but was freed around a month after. though his name was officially cleared, it was impossible to escape the gossip. he held no love for his callous and opportunistic blood relatives, and nor could his former stalwart faith in his country be restored, so he quietly left town the next day and never looked back.
since then, worked somewhat as a no-name freelancer. though his talent lies in design, he is proficient at repairing most things, ranging from weapons to ship parts. he also has incredibly sharp eyesight; though he has no love for battle, he carries around a crossbow and some rudimentary explosives for self defense.
PERSONALITY
a mellow and cheerful individual. a bit of a subtle and unintentional flirt. though most appreciate his amiability, he makes no attempt to defend himself when others call him weak willed or a coward, chuckling in agreement instead. some suspect he’s more sly than he lets on, as he has the right mix of reliable yet emotionally vulnerable that compels women to want to dote on him. though his emotions show on his face rather easily, he tends to not say what he’s truly thinking. not really a good liar, so he tends to give out half-truths and vague answers often.
he carries the wisdom and caution of a man beyond his years, but due to his soft heartedness, he has a hard time ignoring those who are in trouble. though he has no love for needless violence himself, it seems to follow him everywhere he goes…
