Film is the most powerful non-noble in all of Media. He stands at the highest rank as Monitor Director over Central Media, and reports directly to the Council and King. Film tries to keep the best outlook he can on things and tries to give anyone he can the benefit of the doubt when he feels like more evidence could be produced. Film is very aware of Media being constructed to go against those who are cursed with magic and believes that not all mages are truly bad, even if he personally had bad luck when giving a few some leeway. Film was deeply scarred along his eyes and chest by the mage best known as Phantascope or the Shadow Advisor during an interrogation, but plated himself with gold where the scarring took place, and then he laced his fur with gold where the magic previously struck him when fighting with the Shadow Advisor. 

Film's outgoing behavior and helpful nature led him to climbing the ranks in Media quickly. He started out as a Courier and even after becoming a Monitor, never abandoned any opportunity to go out into the field and look into something himself. He's known for utilizing every tool that Media has possible to bring the most thorough investigations he can, and is Cinema's main resource when it comes to studying magic. However, Film also has other Median's interest in mind for certain things, and isn't against withholding information to the anti-mage council if he thinks he can bring a safe life to the subjects of Social Media that have a system orchestrated against them.
