4000 years prior to the beginning of the series when the Nameless God grew angry with all of existence and sought to turn the sun into another Void where he would cast all of existence into the depths of the Void and erase it all. The exact reasons behind the Nameless God's decision to erase the world are unknown, but it was enough to make the Goddess of Fulfillment stand against her brother to stop him. The two of them were locked in a battle that created what has been dubbed the Great Calamity, a catastrophic event that ripped the world in two and rendered the once-fertile lands of Jchita into a poisonous wasteland. At the end of their battle, Fulfillment was victorious. She cast the Nameless God deep into the Abyss where he would be sealed away until the day came where he must return. |
