Personality: Cheeky, mischievous, incredibly persuasive/charismatic, morbid (he has the most uncomfortable and immature sense of humor), sly (possessing a keen ability to sneak around without being seen, and can, subsequently, scare the living Tartarus out of anyone unlucky enough to be standing near his, er, secret hiding spot).

Fatal Flaws: Childish, crude, slightly insensitive, fairly oblivious to the world around him (i.e. problems not regarding him or his family/friends), and has a tendency to forget just how powerful he his in regards to his inherited chaos magic, leading to some pretty severe outbursts every once and a while.

Special Talent: Combating the malevolent forces commonly referred to as the “Spirit of King Sombra” (an old mare’s tale turned sinister and far too real). Only Loki has the power to destroy the evil parasite corrupting his brother’s life force before it’s too late; when the darkness has gained enough strength to possess Solar Eclipse’s life force entirely once and for all.

Cutie Mark Story: Professor Starlight had been in the middle of explaining the dangers of power corruption and the importance of distancing yourself from the forces of Tartarus... when it happened. 

As an example of what not to do when faced with the temptations of dark magic, she’d decided to recite the chilling tale of Sombra’s initial downfall centuries ago. After all, her pupils had certainly matured enough over the years to handle such a story, right? Or so she thought.

She’d finished the lesson by updating the students on the King’s current status. “Sealed away inside the heavily-guarded caverns of the Frozen North,” as she put it.

Suddenly, a blinding light filled the room as multicolored sparks began emanating from one young foal in particular: Prince Loki. Before he could even think to scream out in fear, the shimmering aura quickly fizzled out into nothing more than a muted glow surrounding the cowering Prince. It was his Cutie Mark.

How? He hadn’t even done anything to warrant such an unexpected surprise!

Years later, however, after not even his magically-inclined kin could explain such an incident, would the meaning behind his Mark soon come into play...
