You are not the owner of this character, you are it's guardian, and you are not allowed to transfer this character in any way and I retain the right to repossess the character and adopt it out to someone else if you break this rule. Reasons behind this are already explained in the species rules of ownership which should have been reviewed at this point.
Stand-alone designs (designs that aren't a part of a species) can be sold, traded, and gifted without notifying me. If legitimately owned, designs created by me or within species I've created can be resold for any price, regardless of how they were obtained (traded and gifted designs can be resold). Designs that belong to my closed species have their own individual terms that must be followed.
