- Bio- in this world Demon and Human co-exist, however before doing so demons live in villages away from humans and vise versa. Humans and Demons called Keepers are to keep the peace between them, Female Humans (and one Demon) called Priestess are to protect demons from Hunters (while Male Humans called Priest does the same to humans) And Humans (and mostly Humans) called Hunters are paid to kill Demons and Demon loving humans. This world is a fictional version of Modern and Feudal Japan, with some western flare.

- The Incident: About 3 or 4 years after Saku and Seiki got married, Seiki discovered that she's with child. While it was unplanned, both were shock, overjoyed, and excited. Over the months, both were trying to get ready for the new member of their family. Until news about a hunter came around. Saku, both over-protective and worried for his pregnant wife, suggest that they move. Seiki, understanding where her husband is coming from, talks him out of it. Saku then suggest that he would go to the market to stock up, so he doesn't have many reasons to leave, should the hunter comes by he would be near to protect her. She agreed to that and he went off quickly. While on the way to the village, he past a man. Not knowing that he was the hunter.
While he was gone, Seiki wanted to get some herbs for dinner. Her child was a fussy eater already, and thought getting some tasty herbs would help. That's when she heard footsteps. Thinking it was her husband, she turn to assure him only to find that it was a hunter. The same hunter that Saku past. He took out his crossbow and took a shot at Seiki. He missed and she took off running back home. The hunter follow her, taking out a blade and cutting her, but she fighting him and got a few shots herself. She had to turn into her cat form (a tuxedo cat), to escape from the hunter, however not before getting hit in by an arrow. It manage to hit near her heart (almost near her unborn child). The hunter was not please, trashing her home in rage, before taking off after her.
Unfortunately, that's when Saku came home. After got a few things from the market, he was already running home when he smelt blood (his wife's). He drop his items and turn into his fox form (and blue and white fox). In his point of view, he see the hunter in his home, trashed and blood everywhere. In his mind this man had murder his wife and their unborn child. The hunter to that chance to run, but in a fit of both rage and grief, Saku hunted the person who killed them, and killed the hunter. Saku let out a pained howl.
Seiki, heard a howl thinking it was her husband being killed, continue to ran somehow managing to get into a safety. She was taking in by a priestess (think that she was a normal cat).
Both Saku and Seiki for a long time after this thought the other was dead, and won't meet again until Saku deciding to take a walk near a river, where he heard some children laughing and a sound of a woman talking, Saku ran to that spot (in a frantic hope that he didn't hear wrong), to find that his beloved Seiki was still alive and with two boys (one being a teen and the other being five or six). Seiki noticing that her two sons stop playing and turn to see what they were staring at, when she notice her beloved Saku was alive. Both stared at each other, not believing what they are seeing, before Seiki ran to her husband's arm crying (he was crying too) both were happy to see each other again, relief to know the other was alive and well, and pain that they were apart for so long thinking the other was died. This is where Saku met his son, Hiroyuki and the son that Seiki adopted after his mother left him for dead, Yori.
[The hunter was paid to find and kill a demon who was pregnant by his client's first-born son, as he refuse to have a demon as a grandson and to punish his son for loving a demon.
