Ox and Howlite (HOWEE'S)

Bull's Eyes are guards and interrogators on Homeworld. During the Earth war, many of them were used to interrogate captured Crystal gems

Howlties, on the other hand, are more elite gems. They are designers who used to work in The Reef, designing new clothes and equipment for Pearls. 

Our Howlite and Bull's Eye (Ox) first met on a planet where Howlite was looking for materials and inspirations, while Ox was guarding a Kindergarten. They formed a deep friendship, because they understood each other really well. They sometimes even fused into Rhodochrosite, but they both felt as if they were betraying their true purpose and have only done so occasionally.
When the Rebel war on Earth started, Howlite realized that there is a place for someone like them as well and she told Ox. Ox refused however, saying that their friendship isn't wrong, but that the Crystal Gems only want chaos. Howlite tried persuading her several more times, but failed each time. And so Howlite fled, hoping maybe Ox will follow her eventually.
Ox was assigned a job on Earth, interrogating captured Crystal Gems, when one day they captured Howlite. Ox has not changed her mind even after all this time.
Other Bull's Eyes interrogated Howlite and in the end, shattered her.
Ox stood firm by her decisions, even though deep down she was hurt and angry

Rhodochrosite is a perfect mix of Howlite and Ox - strong and fierce, yet elegant and kind. Maybe in another universe, she would make a perfect warrior
