Dymitri is Percy's brother. Despite being related, the two couldn't have more different philosophies on Pokemon. Symitri only cares about winning battles, while Percy abhors battling and focuses on rehabiliating injured Pokemon.
Determined to win as many League Championships as he can, Dymitri only cares about finding Pokemon that are powerful and listen unerringly. He finds the 'new' league rules of Pokemon battling until faints, and not death, boring and stifling. He often talks at length about the "good old ways" of to-death battles.
Dymitri forced his Type:Null to evolve. It didn't evolve through a bond of friendship, and is excessively cruel and brutal for it. None of Dymitri's Pokemon like him, being obedient because its all they know, but seperated from him for long enough, and they can be friendly. His Garchomp in particular wants to be friendly, but he doesn't know how.

After being forced to evolve, this Silvally has shut itself down emotionally. It feels nothing, and only seems to derive joy from causing pain. Dymitri has developed a system that lets this Silvally switch types on the fly, transitioning from one type to the next with no breaks. This contributes to the Silvally's brutality as they try to cope with switching drives too frequently with no time to adjust.

Dymitri's second most prized Pokemon for his battle prowess, this Garchomp seems ruthless. He's the on who permanantly maimed Percy's Type:Null. Despite this, the Garchomp doesn't really like to be so ferocious in battle, he's just always been made to. It harbors some guilt for the Excalibur's condition, and if the two meet the Garchomp becomes very withdrawn and almost submissive to him after attempting to apologize for it and being shunned by the other trainer's Silvally. Given the chance, this Garchomp would love to stop battling and soak up the sun all day and help people.

Dymitri's Tyranitar specializes in taking hits, letting a sandstorm ravage her opponents as she endures. In doubles, she's often paired with the Garchomp or Aegislash, keeping the heat off them while they deal damage. She's covered in deep battle scars, and fears more than anything she'll get too injured to keep fighting and be thrown away, making her very aggressive towards opponents to keep herself alive and useful to her trainer.

Aegislash was purchased by Dymitri already trained and ready to fight. The person who trained it ran a business, and was hardly kind, and the Aegislash internalized he's nothing but an asset to be used. He's cold and quiet, carrying out his orders because he's a weapon, and that's what he was molded to do.

The most resistant of Dymitri's Pokemon, this Volcarona was intially fiercely defiant of Dymitri and his battling methods. She quickly learned the retribution for disobeying was swift and terrible, and so she listens begrudingly, but occasionally tries to pull her punches when she's able to out of spite. Loathes her trainer.

Toxapex loves her job. A Pokemon that is truly as cruel as her trainer, she enjoys battling in a way that borders on sadistic, enjoying poisoning her targets, then holing up behind her shell, watching gleefully, and coming in for a kill when they're too weak to fight back. For obviosu reasons, Dymitri is rather fond of her. The Toxapex harbors a deep and toxic jealousy for Garchomp, who she feels is weak emotionally and doesn't deserve to be as prized as he is.
