Charged with defending The Kindlings, Fortescue is a hardened soldier who will do his very best to keep those he cares about safe.
Fortescue is a stoic living suit of armour built to withstand the tests of the battlefield. He can withstand almost any form of damage and is willing to throw himself into the line of fire to shield his friends. Outside of a fight, he's very quiet and gentle and often struggles with taking things literally. He is often blunt and has trouble reading the room, though he is taking strides to learn and improve his social skills!

- Fortescue's main design inspirations are a combination of the Cathedral Knight from Dark Souls and the Robot from Laputa: Castle in the Sky.
- His LED-like eye and inner circuits change from white to blue to red depending on his active subroutine.
- Fort is haunted by a handful of spirits who help him support his teammates. They often act as shields and distractions to the party's benefit.
