This is my sona that is representative of my religious trauma and how I have felt abandoned and manipulated by it. If you are uncomfortable with this, please turn away.

Species: Demon

Extremely lazy boi. Can’t be bothered to do most stuff, but if you’re someone he likes he’ll do pretty much whatever you want. Once you get to know him, he’s very soft despite his laziness.

But he is still a demon and therefore has those instincts. If you piss him off he won’t hesitate to get angry with you. He has little mercy.

Backstory:

Obsidian first existed as a bunny fae, living in a small community within a large forest. He was betrothed to a beautiful young man who he loved very much. Out of the blue, however, he became ill. The priests of the village claimed he had received the wound of a monster, the infection of which could only be cured using the petals of a certain flower deep in the forest where the dark fae and demons lie.

He began to pray to whatever God there might be for his love to somehow survive, but he only grew worse. In a fit of rage and anguish, he bashed God’s name and set fire to one of the holy books. A demon soon appeared afterwards, called upon by the anger and destruction wracking his soul. They decided to make a deal with Obsidian, promising him the ability to retrieve the healing flower in return for his and his village’s eternal damnation.

Desperate, he agreed. Selfish and caring primarily for his mate’s safety, he willingly tossed his friends and family into the fire so that they might survive.

And so, he transformed into a demon, his skull elongating and limbs popping to become longer and more slender. His feet paws hardened into hooves beneath him, his hand paws sharpening into long claws. A painful and draining transformation. Now blending in with the monsters of the forest, he was easily able to search and find the flower. Obsidian rushed back home, screamed and pointed at for his visage. Only to find he was too late.

His love had passed away the same night he had made the deal with the demon, something the beast had been aware of from the start. After all, you can never trust a double edged sword.

Broken, alone, and cast away by his people, Obsidian lost himself to the demon’s whispering inside his skull, murdering many of those he once called friends in a fit of grief. They had been the ones to turn against him after all, in his weakest point. The taste of blood on his tongue was enough to sate his anger and pain, if only somewhat. When he finally came to, there was no reversing what was done, should he even care to for the pain he can been dealt. He took off, leaving his little village and their disgust for him behind.

Obsidian now travels the land, not risking staying in one place for too long anymore lest the people turn on him. When everything was ripped from him, he lost any semblance of hope. He now comes off as extremely uncaring and lazy, not seeing the point in trying anymore. He will spend days sleeping away, a favorite past time of his as it helps time to move faster. He will joke and converse with the few who tolerate how he looks. However, he never allows himself to grow too close to anyone now, fearing that he will lose them as well.

But if someone were to bond with him, while his attitude might not change, they would become the light of his world. He won’t lose anyone again.

His stomach still churns and groans, a constant reminder of what he has done. On occasion, he will devour a random passerby if he finds their soul dark, in order to wane the demonic urges from being overwhelming. The hunger never goes away since that first taste, but he still has a semblance of sanity and is thereby able to control himself for the most part.
