Current Bailey, compared to her child-self, is like night and day. She was an absolute feral child, full of life, energy and endless mischief. Her go to partner in crime was Dustin, a timid boy who always tagged along, no matter the adventure.
Unfortunately, things can go South. On a particularly damp and muggy day Bailey and Dustin were exploring a nearby forest, a rugged fence lined the base of a small ditch. Bailey, rough and tumble as always, shoved Dustin a little too hard. As the ditch was small, there was no major injury, but Dustin had crashed into where the fence had frayed, leaving a small scar across his muzzle.
Dustin had tried countless times to convince Bailey that it was just an accident and that she shouldn't dwell on it. But Bailey, still to this day, holds it against herself, Dustin's scar serves as a constant reminder of the accident and how she hurt her dear friend.
