Yulis, the Cloak Hero and Cloak Vassal Wielder, is from a different world tasked with bringing down at least one of the four Legendary Heroes in L'Arc's world. Upon arrival, she befriended L'Arc and his merry little group with the intention of finding out more about the whereabouts of their own heroes but she ends up attached and even falling in love with the king. Casting away her previous ties with her old world, she stands with L'Arc and his friends, even aiding them when they end up having to go to Naofumi's world.

- She prefers light/cold color tones and hues on her outfits.
- Likes wearing necklaces to hide some scars on her collar bone.
As the duchess of Ephinol, Yulis is part of the Eight Vassal Lords who wield their own Vassal Weapon. Generally, it is believed in their world that the Cloak Hero is the weakest among the eight of them, often leading to the other seven making the current Cloak Hero do the dirty work.
When one of their own Legendary Four Heroes were killed in action, the Vassal Heroes scrambled to step up and protect their country from the Waves. In a desperate course of action, the Brush Hero sends off Yulis with the mission of assassinating another world's Legendary Hero to buy them some time.
She ends up in L'Arc's world after crossing through the crack from the wave. There, she stayed for a few weeks researching and scouting until she meets up with L'Arc himself. At first, they doubt her and were convinced that she is a spy but thanks to her Cloak's abilities, she fools them and wedges herself as an important part of the group.
Nearly a year later and Yulis' own determination to betray her new comrades wavers until it disappears completely. She turns her back on her own world and decides to live with L'Arc and stay. After Naofumi saves the Hunting Hero, Yulis is confronted by the Brush Hero, and finally he ends up revealing to her friends that she is a traitor and a spy. Despite that, however, they believe in her wanting to stay and protect that world rather than her own.

- Originally, Yulis is planned to be a Dagger Hero. However, her personality fits more of a defense-oriented vassal hero and thus, a cloak.
- No matter how weird L'Arc acts, Yulis never gets annoyed or irritated at him, saying how he's a breath of fresh air instead.
- Yulis only found out about L'Arc's royal herritage after they attacked Naofumi and the other Heroes.
- She hates the color red.
