Esther has a harsh and fierce personality which doesn't match her innocent face but has shown a much weaker emotional side. Some people sees her as a scary being. She will try her best to avoid you after you have seen her tears. She can be described as a stubborn and easily irratated person who doesn't like to lose. She is also incredibly impatient. She is blunt to those around her except people she is close with. Despite that she has occasionally shown true kindness and consideration towards others such as encouraging her friends when they are frustrated and scolding the others for poor treatment towards a friend. She is quite self-concious about her appearance that she hates the way she gets a crease between her eyebrows while thinking hard. Surprisingly, she can be seen bashful and giddy when something unexpectedly kind happens.

History

Esther comes from a below average household where her parents always struggle to meet ends need. She lost both her parents in her early teens from poor health due to overworking. It was an incredibly stressful event for her as she grieved for a year. Thankfully, there were kind neighbours who cared for her and provided her food daily. She is forever grateful for them as she knows that they are also struggling to meet their own ends need, yet they still insist to give her food. After the grieving period, she felt bad and had enough of relying from others for her own needs. She told her neighbours that she was going to the Adventurer's guild for work so that she can provide for herself and made a promise to them that when she's in a better spot, she will be sure to return the favor. She spends her entire time training and completing guild quests for money. She eventually gets a lot better and is able to complete 4 stars grade missions. Although she is not remotely close to be in the scoreboard, she was able to make enough gold and fullfilled her promise to her neighbours. One day, a wanted poster was posted in the guild for a ridiculous amount of gold as reward. They're asking for the death of a demon named Treize. Although baffled by the reward, Esther looked away from the poster as she knows very well she cannot take on a demon without instantly dying in the first second. Until one faithful day, she encountered Treize while he was fighting and winning against multiple strong fighters. Eventually she was the only fighter left in the area and had civilians to protect. Although afraid and aware she will lose, because of her pride as an adventurer, she fought Treize. Something happened between them during the fight as Treize found entertainment and was quite attracted to her. He teasingly played with her as she fought with all her might and eventually just dissapear when she's tired, ending the match in a tie. Although Esther was well aware she was being toyed around with, civilians sees it as a victory for Esther. She got a hefty amount of gold as a reward but she couldn't help but beat herself for also finding attractiveness in Treize.
