To outsiders Asagi can seem somewhat distant. He does not like to be in large groups, especially in groups with horses who are particularly forward or cocky. He was raised to be very polite, so even if it makes him uncomfortable he will put up with it. He typically will not engage with another horse first. It is hard for him to make the first move when it comes to strangers. Even when angered, he will do his best to be polite, direct and forthcoming to the individual he is interacting with.

With individuals he cares about, whether it is family, friend or lover Asagi is very personable and warm. It may take some time to get to this point in his comfort zone, but with perseverance you might be able to worm your way into his heart! When it comes to protecting others, even strangers Asagi is willing to step out of his comfort zone because bullying or intimidation isn't something he tends to tolerate. Asagi is also gay, very very much gay. He doesn't openly flaunt it, and may seem mostly metro-sexual. Though he is not ashamed of his sexual orientation and will happily spoil his lover publicly with affection or gifts. Asagi would like to have a ceremonial event for him and a mate, he is monogomous and would also like children in the future with his betrothed.

Asagi does suffer from mild mental illness. His mother was wildly schizophrenic. She hallucinated a lot, denied even the most real beings. Asagi only suffers from anxiety but is predisposed genetically for other mental illness though it is unlikely he will develop. Asagi has about 4-5 small fire like purple sprites with him at all times. They are real, but he doesn't believe any other individual can actually see them. He thinks they just feel bad for him so they tell him they're real to make him feel better.
