derhsi is a reserved argonian. he was born close to thorn in black marsh, but was kidnapped by slavers at a very young age. he was sold to slavery and grew up somewhere around western morrowind.

he kept company to a local dunmer child who was from a wealthy family, and they basically grew up together and were close friends, even though the dunmer boy’s family wasn’t so fond of the thought. over the years the dunmer managed to arrange multiple ‘accidents’ that lead to slaves escaping, and so being confident about succeeding, one night he decided to free derhsi and run away with him.

at first the plan worked, but after getting out of the boy’s family home they were spotted by the guards, who proceeded to chase them. the boy was hit by an arrow while he was trying to get derhsi away from the open area, and died shortly after. derhsi managed to escape, and travelled to cyrodiil by foot.

for all his life until the oblivion crisis derhsi spent his years learning how to live free, taking odd jobs and travelling in constant fear that someone would come after him. guilt gnaws his mind for letting his friend die, but he does what he thinks his friend would have wanted him to do; continue living and helping others living in poor conditions.
