Ashe

Despite being brought up in the harshest of natural enviornments; Ashe turned out to be a shy, gentle soul in somewhat of a giant's body. They were few in numbers but they were a tightly knit community; nomadic druids that moved from place to place always in pursuit of greener pastures and kinder climates. However cruel the elements of nature were to them, they were not people of vengeance or unnecessary violence. They respected the natural order of life, hunted what was only necessary and gave back what they could in return.

The tribe neither interacted with others, nor did they ever wander close to civilisation. Thus, it was rather inevitable that their numbers thinned throughout the years. It soon came to a point where the few left had to consider leaving their current lifestyle behind no matter how reluctant they were.

The transition was difficult, but it was not impossible. The most difficult thing about integrating themselves into society was coming to terms with the blatant and rampant disrespect for life that most of them did not think they could do anything about.

While most of them settled for a quieter and comfortable life without any further unncessary confrontations, Ashe stayed closer to his roots and pursued his fascination with the many beasts and creatures that he had grown up watching. He spent many years studying the knowledge that mankind had gathered about the creatures; sometimes through diligent perusing of literature and other times personally through obersvation in the wild.

Since then, Ashe has taken up keen interest in preserving and protecting wildlife from unnatural threats. As somewhat of a free-lancer, he provides aid to mostly magical associations, institutions or syndicates that share the same interest; helping to capture, relocate or rehabilitate beasts and creatures that require it.

TRIVIA

• Dreams of being able to witness or maybe even help rear a griffin chick.
• Quite shy around strangers, especially if he is forced to interact with them.
• Ashe has an odd accent that he is quite embarassed about.
• It is easy for him to forget about being embarrassed if he's sufficiently engrossed in discussing topics of interest.
• He feels more comfortable baring his skin, especially in places which tend to be warmer, but he does get slightly self conscious if there are any gazes that linger too long.
• The markings on his body are made from natural dyes and fade often. He re-applies them every now and then as homage to his people and his culture.
• Ashe's ornamental jewellery set was a collection of gifts he received when he was first crowned the tribe's most graceful dancer. While the yearly tradition is no longer shared with his people, Ashe still lives up to his title and performs in private when the day comes.
• He does not wear his jewellery set often considering the active nature of his pusuits, but he does wear them on occassions where tree climbing and the like are not required.
• Has a tendency to worry or fret over those he cares deeply about.
• Occassionally visits his retired parents, who live in a quaint little cottage somewhere fairly secluded. They are on good terms, and he often brings them gifts from his travels.
