Astrid Hazel Earnshaw-Dantés. The King of Bluridge. A self-centered, loud mouthed git of a being. Though power-hungry, their small, frail body, and being more a person of words over action, makes them seem rather harmless in the large scale of things. But they can be cruel, spiteful, and vengeful when they feel like it.
Dragon, the last (or at least, they think). Due to birth defects, actually doesn't have scales, or a larger frame, like dragons would. They are far shorter, and way more frail than any other dragon. Very thin, and has very soft, purple, skin. Has a tiny tuft of blue hair poking out their forehead, which match the wings, which are also useless, that come out of their back. Another part of the defect means only two of their teeth developed into pointed fangs, giving a sort of vampiric look.
Seemingly unrelated to the defects, are two different unusual features. Their eyes are completely devoid of light, complete black, unlike demons, whose black eyes still reflect the light and show some sort of life, The only thing that seems to give off a faint light, are his unusual, oval-like red pupils.
The other feature are the red rings on the back of their hands, noone knows how or why they are there, but they give off a faint glow at all times, they can even be seen in the dark.
Their sense of dress is almost entirely suits when "on the job". Mostly black suits. With a white shirt, no tie. Otherwise experiments with summer dresses and similar clothing. They also seem to really dislike shoes, their only pair being a pair of white trainers, which they never ever wear, because they don't match suits.
Egotistical. Everything they does, says, or acts on, is all to serve his own self importance. Is loud when they want to be, which is a lot. They will be offended by any crticism of them or anything to do with them, and well very gladly take compliments. They seem to have a hard time understanding that the world doesb't actually revolve around them, any when taking trips out of the country they rule, is very confused how noone seems to take their importance legitimately. Loving the sound of their own voice, they will make... many speeches, or rants, mostly rants. If in a place without a platform to rant from, he will use their "Megaphone of Awesome" to make their voice heard.
Has a tendency to give themself many many nicknames, but the "King of Awesome" moniker stuck the longest, despite how goofy it sounds to... more or less everyone else. They name their items "[Object] of Awesome" too.
Is very uncaring of other beliefs. They is an athiest, thus, to them, all claims of gods existing is lunacy (because that would imply someone higher than them). And seems very keen on the idea of banning any and all alcohol, smoking, or drug use (Minus medication, themunderstands that one, even if he doesn't use it themself)
Has shown, in VERY rare cases, to show some sort of care for others. They have a dislike of the idea of servants, or slaves, and thus keeps the castle staff to as minimum as possible. Their maid, Sylvia, and daughter, Amy, have both proven as examples of people they have protected, and shown affection for, as is their childhood friend Kate... at first.
At age 0, was born, obviously, but to them that's the most important thing that ever happened to the world.
At age 5, their brother was born... FAR less important in their opinion.
Later in the same year, Drachin, a Titan, invaded, bringing an army of mindless ghouls to tear apart the capital. The rest of their family were killed, but KoA managed to escape on the last ferry floating.
At age 7, after just two years of living on the street, they snuck into a Theatre to watch a show by a travelling family of performers. Amazed by it all, they managed to sneak in to the dressing area, and met Kate. Hitting it off instantly, Asta was invited to come with them, join the troupe. They were taught how to overcome their shyness and fear of speaking, and became the star of many of their shows. (As long as said shows didn't involve heights, or balloons. Asta froze up anytime they were involved.)
At age 11, they performed in Bluridge. The King, Drachin, was there to watch. The fury Asta felt that day was new, it was powerful, and they knew, they had to get the country back to their family, to themself. So from there they devised a plan of attack, to end the rule that was crumbling their country. Asta revealed their identity to their new "family", shedding the false name he came up for themself, and set off to defeat the Titan King.
One month before their 12th birthday, Asta executed their plan, ending with the Titan's head being decapitated by the castle gates. They had taken the country back, and was, as a sort of self-gift, crowned upon their birthday.
The next year was hard, they set about, with the help of Kate, and the staff loyal to their father, fixing the wrongs Drachin had created... and furthermore, changing what they thought his FATHER did wrong too. During this time, they got more, and more bitter. Asta sacrificed so much to get where they were, they had to scratch, claw, and survive the enviroment. Theydefeated a TITAN, a creature thought to be unstoppable, by exploiting their mental weaknesses, and using trickery. They were god damn awesome! Yet the people themselves just seemed... bothered. Like they didn't care WHO had the throne, as long as it was easy on them.
On the anniversary of Drachin's defeat, Asta argued with Kate, Asta felt they should be celebrated, and lashed out on her for daring speak back at him. In their anger, their loathing, they made a mistake, they listened to the Doctor's advice... ordered his soldiers to get rid of her. Asta never was the same after that.
At age 13, they was betrayed by another staff members in the worst way... Months later she returned with a child... THEIR child. KoA had no mercy for her. Noone truly knows where she is now. But it believed she is still alive, albeit wishing she weren't.
As for the child, they initially gave it to the Doctor, knowing he would dispose of it before any of this got out. But, unusually for Asta now, they felt regret, and quickly rushed to the lab to stop her death. They was too late to save her arms from the crazed scientist. But ordered him to build her new ones. Asta named the child Amelia, after their own mother.
Since then Asta has spent their time running the land, raising their child, and planning to change the world, in their mind, for the better. They have taken many trips worldwide to see other cultures, learn from them, learn how to control them... and as a definite side mission, their ultimate goal of obtaining Immortality... does a lot of travelling to find that secret.
At 23, Asta is believed to be a loose cannon. They SEEM like just a self-centered jerk, but there are many worried that they will bring out the end of days... And they are ready to stop this reign.
