Profile
Usually introduces himself as Evan.
Aquired the gem on his forehead in early childhood, after which he started hearing voices.. or, one voice specifically. As the voice sounded much older, and tended to explain all of the child's endless questions, he started calling it 'Professor', and grew extremely attached and full of faith towards it. The gem is a symbiote of unknown origins, feeding on the boy's magical power when he uses it, while teaching him to be stronger and aquire more, so there will never be a threat of eating it all. At this point in life, Evan has much higher magical reserves than a regular person, and very good control of it. He learned doing even the smallest of tasks with the help of magic, leading to other people thinking that he's showing off - while in fact he's just following the way he learned in his childhood, while feeding the Professor. If Evan ever needs to use a much larger amount of magic than normally, however, the gem becomes overfed, and grows significantly. Whenever that happens, Evan needs to chip it off by himself, as the gem is highly magic-resistant.
