Updates

I'm planning on doing some big updates in the coming months bc god knows my biographies need it lmao. Anyway, major life change for Rumi:

Retired from her Mors tours after the last raid went to shit in multiple ways; Among the most significant are her own moral code being severely breached as she was weaponised in ideological skirmishes instead of rescue missions from the prison realm, as was expected.

Catastrophic for herself was the bullet, which was made of stuff that could match her, that she was shot and nearly killed by, despite all her power and defences, following a poorly misjudged choice by two team members of their own. Though the bullet had been removed timely enough to save her life, wasn't able to save her future of wanting offspring, and so was rendered barren following the necessity for more operations caused by ensuing complications in her healing process. Hasn't been able to fully heal, either, as chronic pain has made its claim over her body, a fact of which she's struggling to come to terms with how this will impact the rest of her potentially immortal (unless killed) life. Consequently has seen changes in her personality inwhich her temperament has been soured and her patience wearing thin. Spending a lot of time feeling bitter and deeply depressive.

Comprised of and wields powerful magic. Used for healing and self defense.

Has a Wanderlust drive and loves to explore. Because of this has many places she likes to stay across multiple worlds.

On first impressions she can across as naïve. She's sweet natured and friendly, easy going, approachable, and recklessly kind. Arumi is infact self-aware of this, and chooses to be this way.

Powers

Water Manipulation. Water Healing. Force-Field Generation. Shapeshifting.

Shapeshifter. Dragon when wet. Kirin when dry. Human by choice.

Thus far most of her magic is restricted by the need for water.

In rainy, misty, or foggy conditions, can fly through air as though she were swimming.

Able to form an orb of "starlight" for short periods of time, which she uses when she needs to see in dark places.

Able to create a shield of water and herself. Powerful and durable. Can encase one or multiple individuals in a protective barrier if needed.

A healer. Combined by use of water, she can heal the wounds and ailments to as much degree as a player may wish. Mostly unbiased and willing to heal anyone who asks.

While her powers themselves are always growing, a majority of her magic content is found in her very being. Any part of her body, willingly given or not, could be used to make intensely powerful medicines. Or even consumed for reduced but immediate effects.

Appearance

The Endless Forest (Feral) Size: #

Universally wears jewellery. Surrounded by light magic orbs like stars out of aesthetic choice, while also a means of defense against dark magic infused creatures, of which contact will deliver stinging burns like wasps. To all others, a soft warmth. To other light magic infused creatures, soft healing. They shapeshift depending on the presence of water; when dry, they assume their Kirinesque form. When wet - if even from a splash of rain - the form shifts into something akin to an eastern dragon. Slitted pupils.

Kirin

Furred all over, said fur is iridescent and has an unusual feather-like quality, and in some places appears to be some sort of hybrid between feathers and scales, as far as shape is concerned. Features on the back of their head and withers most resemble feathers and would be perceived as such without closer inspection.

Water Dragon

All fur becomes something like fish scales, including the colourful sheen of such. Their body length extends into a noodle, their limbs become dexturous hands and paws. Their tail is flat and acts as a sail, resembling a very long newts tail. The feathers on their withers and head then resemble external newt gills, though they are able to breathe in and out of the water. Colours are much brighter in this aquatic form.
