Archangels' smaller wings aren't on top of the big wings. They're around the middle back. They might overlap each other, but it's not one on top of the other

Backstory

Long ago, Chamuel was created to map out where the stars were going to be placed in the sky. He took this job seriously and put thought into each placement. Once they were mapped out, he added some of the stars to the sky. Other archangels also added stars and chose the constellations they wanted to make. Chamuel made Columba, the North Star, and helped around with the others. Once all the stars were mapped out, he felt he didn't really have a job anymore since all he could do was watch other the sky.

He didn't interact a lot with other archangels, and preferred to be alone with his stars. He did have a few close friends though. He'd normally be seen around Razael, Uriel, Izari, or Jeremiel. Chamuel ended up people watching while in Heaven and out on Alruna. He found a love in seeing how happy couples were and wanted to help people find their true love. Uriel's guidance told him that he should become a matchmaker for angels, humans, and even demons. Chamuel didn't even know if this was allowed since he was already assigned to be the star mapper. He kept Uriel's words in mind though.

Chamuel ended up spending a lot of time with Izari after the talk with Uriel. He ended up falling wings over heels in love with her and decided to ask her on a date. The pair quickly became a couple and Chamuel was as happy as he's ever been. Angels would normally see the two together everyday. Chamuel helped Izari with her work when he could. After the Fall, he still loved Izari even if she had fallen with a lot of the other archangels. He promised he'd stick with her and ended up giving her lots of gifts. Thinking back on it, he thinks this was a mistake that just drove her to be greedy. Chamuel kept trying to show Izari that everything was alright and that it didn't matter if she fell. Izari didn't seem to listen as she became colder and more cruel to him and everyone else. It took years until he finally broke off the relationship and never visited her again.

The star mapper became more sheltered after that day. The only people he went to were Raz and Jeremiel. It didn't help when Uriel tried to go and talk with Lucifer. When he saw that singed feather, he broke down. It took years for him to finally decide to take Uriel's guidance. He spoke to God and told her that he wishes to become the self proclaimed archangel of match making. She agreed, but only on one condition. Chamuel would have two ways to fall now. One would be pettiness toward the stars placement, and the other would be to pair up two people who would never have a healthy relationship. He agreed to this and started pairing up angels, humans, and demons. He never paired up fallen angels though. Chamuel had a deep hatred for them after what Izari put him through. He couldn't help but miss her though.

In the 1800's a newspaper called Heavenly or Hellish had caught his interest. He enjoyed reading this weekly paper on his travels to match up couples. Early 1850 he ended up seeing the author of this paper. A tall flirty demon named Okuraz. Chamuel booked a hotel in the same town he was staying and decided see how he went about making his stories. That first night he remembered hearing about Razael's sweet shop opening. He knew his friend was single and formed an idea. He watched over Okuraz for a week to see what kind of demon he was. Once he concluded this demon was safe, he thought Razael would make an amazing match for him! Oku had asked his fans to suggest a place to review and Chamuel sent in multiple requests for the Sweet Treat. Once he saw the demon going in, he used his luck to make sure the two would have their paths intertwined. After hearing that Oku ended up staying in that town instead of going back to his travels, Chamuel went back home.

In current time, Chamuel is living with the other couples in a castle in Thistleton. He's still close to Raz, and ended up dating Belial after getting over his fear of fallen archangels.
