Null

Bred for combat and trained to be one of many soldiers in the GAR, CT-1800, soon to be known as Null, started life as a typical clone cadet with high ambitions, passing his training tests with flying colors and entering the ranks soon before the start of the first battle of Geonosis. Though reserved, Null was particularly close with one of his batch brothers, Steady. The two were practically inseparable, and worked well together both on and off the battlefield. Null had a pretty solid run out of the gate, but his world was shattered in the wake of the first battle of Felucia, where his unit was effectively decimated, and Steady was critically wounded in action. With so many dead (or presumed dead, in the case of Steady) Null was reassigned to a new unit to serve under Pong Krell.

From there, Null suffered more losses and experienced emotional abuse at the hands of his cruel general. This adversity further destroyed him, leading to the once simply reserved clone becoming withdrawn, bitter, and self-destructive. Despite all this, the state of affairs hardened his resolve to get ahead in the ranks. He dedicated his free time to combat simulations and extra training, vying for a coveted promotion to ARC trooper and his ticket away from Krell's constant derision.

Upon becoming an ARC trooper, Null had to face the harsh reality that the promotion didn't solve all his problems. He was thrown into a leadership role within a few months of being assigned to his new squad, and had to learn fast in order to fill those shoes. It was during this time that Null fell in love with a general he was under the command of, but she was eventually reassigned and replaced with an ineffective Nautolan Jedi. Other than this, Null's time in Aster squad was a good one, becoming closer with his brothers than he ever allowed himself to be after losing Steady.

This all changes after Order 66 is given. Null enacts the order with the rest of his squad, and is approached soon after by Imperial officials about his new role as a purge trooper trainer. The reassignment was mandatory, and Null spent the next two years stuck in an a position and environment he despised. He was only able to escape with the help of one of his brothers and a presumed-dead Jedi they both knew during the days of the war. The three of them now spend their days fighting the Empire wherever they can.

Still grim, closed-off, and miserable, Null has a morbid sense of humor and a bleak outlook on life. He throws his heart into his work, volunteering for any mission he can get his hands on, ideally until he bites the dust on the battlefield at the hands of Separatist blaster fire. Due to the many hard losses early in the war, Null initially attempts to fight any sense of attachment, though he knows his caring nature will only win out in the end. In what little free time he has, he enjoys drinking Corellian single malts and comparing scar stories.
