Bio~ Meet Hickory Note, he's a mountain pony. Mountain ponies live high up in the mountains where the woods are thick and over in the hidden valleys. Hickory grew among these woods, he watch his father in the wood mills, he marveled at his mothers fine wood workings. And yet none of this was for him. Every mountain pony had their talent with the forest or wood working, yet he found nothing. After some time of thinking he would never find his talent he meet a traveling sales pony who had things he had never seen. Turns out this sales pony was selling musical instruments, this pony let Hickory try all his wears. But one thing stuck to him, it was a lute, he plucked at it and fell in love, and yet he had no bits to buy it. So when he was able he got together ever scrap piece of wood he could yet he could never prefect this strange instrument. He had almost given up hope at 23 of never make it, let alone get his cutie mark. But then, his mother out of desperation gave him a large piece of hickory wood, and begged him to make anything (unlike the times when she would give him instructions on what to make). And that's when he did it, he made the lute, or at least the case, still needed string but that was easy. Once it was built, and he played it for the first time, he got it. Yes his cutie mark, which is a lute. At 30 he left the hidden mountain valley to traveling Equestria as a singing bard.
(Side note~ when he was about 16 and wander the forest like he did a timber wolf attacked him and gave him a scar over his right eye)
