Strengths and Weaknesses:

Swantooth is not squeamish when it comes to doing what she needs to to ensure the safety of her clan-mates. Even if posed with a challenging situation, she is the type of cat to do everything in her power to keep them alive. 

She has always excelled in identifying and tracking down herbs, as such she tries to keep a very comprehensive inventory of what is needed at any given time. Because of this she always appears prepared, even if she isn't. 

For better or worse, Swan is the type of cat to speak her mind when it comes to getting something done. As such she can come across as somewhat standoffish to others as she may make them feel like she doesn't value their opinions or input.

Swantooth is tall and lanky, she always appears to be watching others at all times, which makes her appear intimidating and unapproachable when in reality she is not attempting to be so. 

She struggles with seeing in the dark and frequently bumps into things when navigating around at night.

Charisma - Despite being willing to be outspoken, Swantooth is not very charismatic in part due to how off-putting she can be toward others. When she does speak she does so very softly. She doesn't seem to understand why she struggles to communicate with others, but she tries her hardest to bridge that gap.

Eagletooth (Deceased)Father -  A very proud and strong willed warrior. Spent a lot of time with Swantooth when she was growing up, and is likely the cause for her wit. He passed away just before she recieved her medicine cat name. Although the two were close, Swan never really expressed any grief over his death outwardly choosing instead to focus more on her work.

Snowcloud  Mother - A flippant and aloof queen that really had no interest in having kits. Despite this she does genuinely love her only daughter and would dote on Swantooth as she grew up. After her mate's death she has become even more reclusive and typically doesn't socialize too much with others.

The Afterlife:  Swantooth genuinely believes that Starclan just kind of hates her, specifically because of her lack of being able to see in the dark. She believes in Starclan and their will, but is not afraid to express her disdain about some of their perceived choices.

History 

Kithood

Swankit was the single kitten born in her litter. While her mother, Snowcloud had expressed not wanting kittens before Swankit's birth, she and her mate Eagletooth absolutely adored their only kitten, even though she certainly had her quirks. While other kittens in the nursery spent their time playing loudly, Swankit was more than content just observing from a distance. The other kits found her creepy and always complained loudly about the odd kitten who would watch them from the other side of the nursery.
Her parents quickly discovered the reason for this, as it became quickly evident that Swankit struggled to see in the dim light of the nursery, and the few times she would partake in play, she would completely miss the others and often would bump into walls or the other queens in search for her target. She didn't appear to have this issue in the daylight, but not being able to see in the dark was concerning for her parents, both of which were very proud Warriors.

Apprenticeship

Swanpaw had no complaints when she was given to Leafdust, the medicine cat as her apprentice, and in fact she excelled. Thanks to her visual impairment, Swanpaw had developed quite the refined sense of smell, and had no problem navigating around the medicine cat den as well as identifying different herbs, even in dim lighting. She excelled as a medicine cat apprentice, and genuinely enjoyed almost every aspect of the job. Her father came by to visit the medicine cat den every day to check in on her, proud of how his kitten had grown and excelled. So when Eagletooth returned to camp one day, badly injured after what was supposed to be a routine patrol, it absolutely shook Swanpaw to her very core. Suddenly she was tasked with helping her mentor try to save her life, and when her father needed her the most, Swanpaw froze up, unable to do anything.
When Eagletooth passed away from his injuries, Swanpaw felt like it was all her fault. If she had only focused more, if she had only tried harder. If she hadn't panicked at his time of need. When her father died, Swanpaw didn't seem to react at all. There was no longer any emotion behind her eyes. From that moment on she dedicated more of her time and energy to her work, vowing to never let another clan mate die due to her own feelings getting in the way.

Warriorhood

When Leafdust stepped down and retired as medicine cat, Swantooth received her father's name, and with it she continues to work her hardest in order to ensure that every one of her beloved clanmates remain happy and healthy, even if her demeanor creeps them out. The way she views it, the less amount of time they choose to spend in the medicine den, the better.

'People' Watching. It's very common to see Swantooth sitting just outside of the medicine cat den just watching the clan go about their daily duties. 

The smell of mint. It's a very clean smell and it makes her feel safe.
