Even if hes half turkish he has never been there. His dad comes from Turkey and moved to Canada so there has never really been a reason.

Markus has traveled the world surfing, he mostly goes to the north like Norway and Iceland but has been to Australia and Greece too. Efter he turned 23 tho he decided to sit back awhile in his home town to practice surfing with his friends (and stack up some money).
