• Prefers loose dark brown or black clothing, sometimes wears light armor
• Hair is growing more and more silver as he ages
• Possesses fairly dramatic fangs, and the nictating membranes of his species
• Features are somewhat leonine
• Skin is a dusky warm gold-brown
• Has a number of silvery scars, including two long lines down his forehead and a rather dramatic blaster scar above his left hip
• Wields a yellow-white staff saber

By nature Teyo is a relatively gentle individual, but age and experience have left him a little rough around the edges in some ways. He's experienced a lot of difficult things and seen a lot of bad decisions in his time, and so has formed a lot of strong opinions about the way to handle certain situations. He sometimes tends to get impatient with those he believes are handling a situation incorrectly, especially for larger and more vital decisions.

These days he tends to be somewhat gruff, most of what he says blunt and to the point. He can certainly be a little intimidating, and has learned to use this to his advantage from time to time. He's lost enough friends over the years that he'd reluctant to let people close, emotionally, and tends to be rather prickly toward new people. He does care a great deal and hates to see people hurt, but he generally keeps them at arm's length while doing all he can to help. Despite the time he spends functioning as a healer, he has a terrible bedside manner.

His gruffness, however, does not extend to children, or those he does grow close to despite his best efforts. With those exceptions he can be cheerful and sometimes almost silly. He's very protective of such people, both physically and emotionally, and does his best to shield them from the worst of the world.
