Oswin's favorite hobby is hacking...if you can call that a hobby. If you don't consider that a hobby, she also does programming and also re-programming of the computers and devices that she hacks. If you still don't consider that to be a hobby, she also likes to make soufflés. Are they any good at this hobby? :: Oswin wasn't originally very good at hacking or computer programming, but after being in a difficult situation that forced her to learn how to get better at it, plus not having a whole heck of a lot else to do to occupy her free time, she got better at it. Perhaps even too good, since her hacking abilities got her noticed by the government. Well, when I say noticed, I mean, she tried to hack a government's server and got farther than any other hacker had before her. She ended up being caught and then sent to jail where she spent only a few days before governmental officials came to her cell and offered her the choice between rotting in prison or working for the government to make their security better. Obviously, she chose not to stay in prison. As for the soufflés....she's dreadful at making them. As she likes to say when they deflate: "it was just too beautiful to live."

Oswin is now a paid hacker for the government.
