Persephone

Brief Backstory:
Born a bastard child to the king of Lumaurice and his mistress, Percy (Persephone Saleme Luma) was never considered the heir to the throne, despite her being the oldest of the royal children.
Percy spent the first few years of her life with her mother until she passed away. Due to a magically binding contract, her father took her in when Percy's mother passed away. Percy's move to the royal court of Lumaurice would start much hatred and discrimination that would lead to Percy becoming a quiet withdrawn child and young adult.
Despite a tough environment growing up, Percy dedicated herself to her studies and became especially interested in magical engineering. For the entirety of her adolescence, she lost herself in her inventions and eventually cracked the code to make world-altering weapons.

Gift logistics: 
Percy has what is known as a hybrid gift, which is a mix of two different types of magic (in this case Magic and Shadow) Which results in a new unique type of ability.
Decay - Decay is this gift's chosen name as it decays and eats away at whatever it's used on. This ability can only be used on living things, and once its used it cannot be stopped unless the infected flesh is severed. The drawback of such a power is every time Percy uses it a part of her flesh decays, almost as punishment for killing.
