Slay Vega

After years of ugly concept art, I finally have an official internet persona. This is Slay Vega, my internet persona, avatar, internet me, whatever you want to call it. Btw, she's smol. Only 5 feet tall. And her wings are a crystalline structure.

Her name I got from the bastardized translation of The Ancient Magus' Bride. Their main character is a species of fairy called a sleigh beggy but it was mistranslated as "slay vega" and the fandom got out of hand and somehow got a definition for it as "Beloved child of the night." So I thought, eh, why not make the real Slay Vega? XD But it's just her name. She's not an actual fairy from lore or anything.

The story behind this, that no one was probably questioning, I feel like I'll explain now. Over the course of the year, I've been trying to restart my drawing hobby. At the beginning, I realized I was drawing too much with the desire for attention, and that was definitely the wrong reason to pursue my hobby with. It made me miserable, and I decided that I wasn't going to draw for anyone, anymore. So, I just draw whatever I feel like drawing, now. No one would probably care or notice, aside from my slew of bad drawings. Those are fun for me because I'm drawing what I feel and not with the expectation of other people. (I honestly think realism is overrated, these days.)

So, this is how things are now. I don't know why people follow me, and I've given up trying to figure it out and please everyone, everyone being people that seemingly don't exist. I'll just go on drawing whatever I feel like, and that's it.
