Naoise has been Emil's best friend since childhood. A happy-go-lucky water elemental, Naoise is amiable and popular with both men and women - though he seems somewhat unaware of this. Despite his bubbly disposition, he has strange interests and a sense of humor, and Emil claims he's much weirder in private than people would assume. He calls himself a "semi-professional" tattoo artist and often convinces his friends to let him cover them with (sometimes crudely done) tattoos.

His biggest passion is pursuing music, which his family does not entirely approve of. His family runs a mortuary business, but Naoise is the lead singer and guitarist of a rock band, "Augustan Eulogy," with his childhood best friend and two others. As he and his family do not get along well, Naoise lives with his bandmate, Augustan Eulogy's drummer, Lino.

*note on tattoos: his arm sleeves can be tattoos of virtually anything and everything! There is no rhyme or reason or consistency to those drawings; the only set tattoo is his upper abdomen piece :-)
