Ylmaut the Lifedrinker

Ylmaut's name is considered an unusual one by Elven standard - many common Elven names are based on ancient words and meanings that have lost use in regular conversation, but Ylmaut's is different - it means, roughly, 'a prayer for life' in what was the preeminent modern Elven dialect of the time.

A powerful sorceress in a race against a curse that cannot be broken by any spell - but can be staved off, if one gains magical power enough to outpace its ever-growing hunger.

Eventually, she resorts to... unsavory means.

With hefty amounts of magic to throw around due to her constant need to grow in power to survive, Ylmaut took to the difficult art of creating constructs - useful, for a murderous sorceress with a permanent trap-ridden lair. One needs guards, at least to get some SLEEP now n then after all. Here's a few of her myriad creations:
