Physical Appearance: Scraggy is the best way to describe Mau. If you've ever seen how feral cats fur looks, she basically looks like that. Unkempt fur, a mat here or there, usually has dirt or dust covering her in a thin layer. Not like she really cares, though. She's 9. 9 year olds are dirty.

Clothing: Mau usually sticks to her standard outfit. The bracers on her arms and legs are optional, though. She only really wears them when using magic, assuming she has access to them.

Being raised in a very... Cult enviroment... Mau is not like your average child. Not because she's intentionally malicious, but because she's never been exposed to anything different. For example, she'll often call non-Kodin races slurs because where she was raised that's just what they were called. She's also not afraid to let "outsiders" know how her version of the world is supposed to work. Whenever someone tells her something contrary to what she was raised with she'll respond with something along the lines of "Well, that's what my brother said, and my brother doesn't lie".

With that in mind, Mau is still a young child. She's curious, creative, and too naive for her own good. Not only that, but she was raised without a sense of fear. Like most young people, death is never an option in her mind because "only old people die". She's far more willing to take risks others wouldn't because of this.

It's hard to tell if Mau is good or evil aligned. Even she doesn't know for sure. She seems to care about the wellbeing of others, especially those close to her, but she also isn't against things like stealing and lying. Really, how she ends up will be determined by where she ends up during the end of her childhood/teenage years. Until then she's a wild card. Always unpredictable.

Mau is pretty average in terms of her physical abilities. She's 9. No 9 year old is a master at combat or a skilled mage. She's been able to pick up a spell here and there by watching her older brother, but for the most part her abilities are... What you'd expect. At most she can dispel magic or use her claws to scratch someone

Other: Mau has a wild origin. Basically, throughout all my stories over the years I've ALWAYS had "older cat who reluctantly adopts a kitten" as a pair. Before Star was converted to Mirror Domain his adopted kitten sidekick was a cupcake themed kitten named Sprinklez. Sprinklez was... A horrible character all around. Mau was originally made in a D&D campaign. Tl;dr, I was playnig as Oasis, Oasis found a lost kitten at the bottom of a well, that kitten was named Mau. When I started writing the Comic I decided Mau was a better design than Sprinklez, so I turned her anthro and put her in that spot.
