ABOUT
"You have to trust me"
Uko's a mandalorian bounty hunter who's kind and helpful despite being a bounty hunter. He has a great judge of character and can tell when people are bad or not which leads him to sometimes trust people a bit too easily. He's a good critical thinker - quickly knows what to do in fights and if something doesn't go as planned. But can also be rather lazy, procrastinate a lot, takes long time to return bounties or doing basic things as getting food.
He can be kinda shy at times when talking to people and get easily flustered, especially with Kaycee (the helmet helps covering his blushing though). Uko can also become rather protective over the people he cares about, some may even call him clingy.
DESIGN
- Added some "wings" to the sides of his helmet cause he thought it looked cool.
- His hair becomes darker brown by the neck.
- Heterochromia, one green eye and one brown.
- His hair is very wavy, almost curly.
BACKGROUND
GROWING UP
Uko's childhood was nothing out of the ordinary, he grew up on Mandalore with his parents as a middle child to two brothers, they were living within a large clan and he got trained by his uncle. Uko never really seemed that interesting in learning how to fight, he was the weakest of the rest of the younglings in his clan and got teased a lot - however he wasn't too bothered by the teasing and took his things in his own pace.
It wasn't until one of the clan's camps got raided by pirates his life changed, it was a bloodbath and in the end he lost his older brother and his father. It took a while to emotionally recover from it but life had to go on and he finished his training and became a true mandalorian of his clan. But Uko didn't quite feel like he was comfortable in his clan and wanted to find a new place, a smaller clan where he could start anew. He found and joined a new clan that was located on Lothal, and he settled in rather quickly.
CURRENT DAY
Uko doesn't spend too much time with his clan anymore after an incident that led the clan members to become on edge with eachother and not knowing who to trust in anymore. He visits occassionally and the clan is slowly healing but he now prefers doing his own thing alone. That is until he stumbled across an injured stormtrooper he decided to help. Her name was Kaycee and they quickly became friends despite her background, he wanted to teach her what the galaxy had to offer and she agreed and now tends to always hang out with him as she got no where else to go. Uko can't complain since he really enjoys her company.
He's still a bounty hunter and takes on bounties from time to time to earn credits, mostly captures and such as he doesn't enjoy killing people. He - like everyone else is just trying to survive and live through the tough time with all the conflicts and politics going on.
RELATIONSHIPS
Uko realised pretty quickly that she wasn't the typical stormtrooper that you'd expect. She was much kinder and emotional so he decided to try and show her how life outside the empire and war have to offer. It also didn't take long until he started catching feelings for her, he'd go great lenghts to keep her safe and help her discover who she is.
Dusk used to be somewhat of a mentor for Uko, he had his flaws but Uko still appreaciated and grew close to him. It wasn't until Dusk left the clan Uko got hurt and lost respect for his friend and it only got worse when he found out what kind of scummy jobs Dusk was taking. A part of him misses him and wants to reconnect with him but the other part was still upset and disgusted at who Dusk had become.
A long time friend of him, Penny helps him when he needs it and he does the same in return. He also goes to her when he needs a guide/someone to take advice from. He's a little freaked out of her being force-sensitive but he admire her courage, perseverance and generosity.
