In a world where there are gods of nearly every object and concept, there must be some order. Every new century, a new god is appointed to be head god. Last century, the god of memories was chosen. This was clearly a mistake, as only a few years into his reign he became corrupt; erasing and reincarnating gods left and right. Many gods escaped to Earth, but most stayed in the heavens to attempt at rebellion. After the god of memories was relieved of his status, it was decided the god of names should be the next leader to help undo the damage. Unfortunately, the god of names was one of the first erased.
Enter Miro, a god who's role and status has been erased, causing him to reincarnate. He was chosen to search Earth for the god of names, as well as tell any gods who left the heavens that there has been a change in leadership. Along the way Miro meets Lenny, god of playwrites, and the two of them travel together in search of the god of names.
