BF - Duolo "The Scarecrow"

His name is Doulo- or was, he always wanted to be a guard or security of his village (Need to pick one) As a babybirb he would follow the guards wearing makeshift helmets- and or protect smaller birbs from bigger birbs and generally do his best to protect those around him! Sadly, Doulo had one arm, which wouldn't make him an ideal candidate- so he focused more on his magic-like all BF, he learned to shape shift- sadly his new forms would be still missing a limb. Saddened by his incomplete form, he wandered into the forest, where he found an old creature in need of help. It looked as if it were patched together no part matched, its face long and sad. - It complained that the crows would pick at its back where berries and corn grew- and that it was in terrible pain. Doulo’s heart went out to the strange creature, that and seeing this as an opportunity to finally protect. Doulo offered to help! the creature pleased by this would make a deal- if Doulo protected it, it would one day give him a new arm, but if not- it would take his legs! Doulo full of adolescent determination agreed and stayed with the creature for many years. Doulo would protect, staying up day and night- he was allowed to eat the berries and corn on the creatures back- but he had no idea he was becoming bound to this creature by doing so- (an effect that might come to play sometime in the future..) On a particulate night Doulo found himself dozing off, seeing that the protector was asleep the crows were quick to attack the creature ripping the corn and berries from its back, thus ruining the contract between the creature and Doulo agreed upon. Angered, the creature accused Doulo of being a liar and stitched his mouth closed, and took his legs so that he could never walk again. The creature would then, tie him up and leave him for all to see in a large field stuck a stake. Saddened by his failure, Doulo accepted this, staying in the field he would sigh day in and out. As the season came, the field would grow bringing forth corn! That year it would be the healthiest and biggest ever, because the crows were terrified of Doulo! The spirit of the field would be thankful, and would give Doulo a choice- he could have his legs or arm. Doulo would choose his legs- but promised that once the season came he would protect the field allowing Him the other seasons to travel and meet/protect other people.
