Overview

Oliver was brought up in a small, but bustling town just west of London. As a child he was very carefree, your average boy who liked trucks and playing in the sand. This was until he was on holiday with his family in the 80s. While at their hotel in Bali there was a harsh murder in their hotel. His parents told him everyone was okay but Oliver was inquisitive enough to know that a mountain of police officers in the lobby and miles of yellow tape meant someting bad had happened. He tried to pry his parents - being a little too intelligent for his age. They wouldn't budge of course. It was only years later, soon after he moved out, that he realised what had really happened that day. Oliver had been out at a party when he found an old man in a dark alleyway after midnight on a summer evening. It didn't take a rocket scientist to understand that the man had been murdered. After calling the authorities he was required to go to the station to answer some questions. The whole ordeal stuck with him, and from then on he was determined to follow in the footsteps of the investigators.

Oliver is a quiet but passionate fellow who is always ready to get thinking. Working as a detective makes him very blunt at times, and inquisitive of everyone around him. He's skeptical of many things and digs deep into conspiracy theories when he has time off. He never goes anywhere without his trusty hat and pen - and often also has a pack of cigarettes with him too. Oliver is very loyal to those he vows to and will not stop until a job gets done.
