BIO

Born and raised in a quiet lakeside town called Farrowin, Caleb had a relatively quiet childhood. He lived with his parents, Henry and Mona; and his sister, Eva. As a child, Caleb was very close with all members of his family. He also enjoyed spending time outside. He'd often spend time playing with Eva by the lake or in the forest that surrounded their house. 

When Caleb was nine years old, his father left the house in a hurry. He said goodbye to his wife and two kids, promising that he would return someday. Every day he would hope that his father would come back, but as time went on he realized that his father wasn't coming back. Caleb was never able to bring himself to ask his mother what happened to his father. Henry's sudden disappearance had clearly upset Caleb's mother, and he didn't want to make his mother feel more upset. 

When Caleb was eleven, his mother became very ill. Both Caleb and his sister did their best to take care of her, but they were unable to pay for the proper care that she needed and died. With no one to provide for them anymore, both Caleb and Eva had to find a way to get by. Caleb was able to find a job as a chimney sweep, which despite all his hard work did not pay well at all. When they still found themselves struggling to get by, Caleb taught himself to hunt and set traps in the forest near their home to so he wouldn't have to spend as much money on food. 

It was only a year after Caleb's mother passed away that he discovered his pyrokinetic abilities. Initially, he found his powers hard to control and often found himself lighting random things on fire. He spent a few days away from work while he worked on harnessing his power. Once he had a better handle on them, he returned to work keeping his powers a secret from everyone except his older sister. 

Personality

(under construction) Caleb is a person of few words. He keeps to himself most of the time, and often doesn't speak unless spoken to. Caleb is an idealist, and often likes to daydreams about living a better life where he works a job that he actually enjoys and isn't struggling to get by. Deep down, he knows that those dreams are unlikely to happen but they keep him motivated.
