Jayuya

Jayuya is a bit of a loner, he tends to keep to himself, having been subject to scorn by humans over his word focus when he was young. He finds it hard to get close to people because he is worries that they will react negatively to him. He has anxieties and is a bit of a worry wart, but now that he has been accepted by his found family, he has been able to relax and be more of himself. He has a bit of a morbid sense of humor, but is generally a cheerful guy. He has a fascination with blood and death, and loves to learn all he can about the circulatory system. He tends to be a role model for his younger brothers and the younger cryptids at the university, even with his odd interests, and it helps him to be motivated to learn more.

Ties

Nessie - Adoptive Mom
Jayuya is incredibly glad that Nessie took him in, he's glad to finally have a family, and does whatever he can to help her with the other cryptids and the university. They have had a lot of long talks over he years, and she has greatly helped him to come out of his shell.

Sayre - Adoptive Brother
Sayre is a bit wild, but will often listen to Jayuya over others. Jayuya is always there to look after him, and talk to him about anything. Jauyua doesn't mind that Sayre likes to follow him around, and tries his best to be a positive influence on him.

Kepler - Adoptive Brother
Jayuya and Kepler are closer in age, and get along pretty well. They are always talking about books together or taking time to read, if Sayre doesn't interrupt. Jayuya tries to be a bit gentle with Kepler, who sometimes can be a bit skittish about Jayuya's more morbid interests.

Octavius - Friend
Jayuya and Ocatvius became unlikely friends when the university took in the guard dog paralogos. Octavius had been working through some stuff, just like Jayuya, and the two of them wound up talking about their lives.
