Corey Mallory

Corey was born to two musicians, Nicolette and Flint, during the midst of a tour where Flint believed it was an april fools joke (It was not).

Corey had a rocky upbringing, going back and forth from their parents to grandparents every couple of months. They had troubles communicating and making friends as a child, and turned to music like their parents, they started playing the violin and piano at the age of six.

Bullying began during middle school, but really began to affect them during freshman year of high school, in which the summer before sophomore year, Corey took the matters into their own hands after being seen walking around the neighbourhood and got ambushed, leading to the loss of their precious hair they grew out because it reminded them of their partial-absent mother.

In the summer before sophomore year Corey carried out a plan to ensure their tormentors would never be able to bully them any longer -- because they would be dead, after ingesting merely 30ml of formaldehyde they planted in a bottle at a house party they heard their bullies would be at.

However during the party they caught a glimpse of a girl on her own, being passed a new cup of what would kill her, and suddenly smitten, frantically drank from the cup to prevent her from dying, leading to self induced poisoning and Corey’s death. Corey did not account for the innocents in the crossfire, as drinks were mixed and people went down, it was a partial success on their part.

Corey woke up six feet underground, in a coffin with the gravestone “Unidentified and Innocent, xxxx - 2020,” a few days before the first day of their sophomore year. Their bullies had died, along with dozens of others, and since then their highschool life has been rather quiet. They’re still prone to lashing out on reflex due to previous bullying.

Because Corey has never truly had any friends, they are attempting to live out a childhood they never had - filled with banter, teasing, and overall good fun. However they still aren’t sure how to make friends.
