Troubled, and wary, Aquillas was born and raised into a secluded group known as The Order of the Blue Lotus. This ubringing is a huge aspect of himself, one that he struggles with at times and questions. TOotBL are a "purist" group, and have a large negative predjuice against all races that aren't human, there is more of a bias towards Kemonai and Mermaids then there is towards mages. As per tradition, he grew up training with a sword and is very apt with it. He has history with Miki, and actually posses her magic pearl which was forged/embedded into the handle of his sword.

He struggles with his beliefs, and how he feels towards other races, from what he's been taught growing up, and what he's seen on his own. His best friend and family was publicly hanged when he was younger when it was discovered that his friend's mom was a black bird Kemonai.

Powers

He's human so he doesn't have any base abilities, as humans have the weakest attunement to magic. However his armour/clothes and sword are embedded/enchanted with magical properties for protection, and power. A gem on his left hand gauntlet projects a magical shield when in battle.
