Felix was born the sole son of midmith lord Maris Grd, raised on the alpine world of Kradel B but receiving a far from traditional gentry upbringing due to his father's rogue status as a supporter of Dammera Thinstar during the Torch War. After Maris' fatal clash with Kanda knights Jaromir and Yusei at the advent of the war's reignition, Felix found himself alone and unable to take care of himself, inheriting his father's rogue status and all that came with it.

Instead of laying claim to his land and title and pledging fealty to the Salbasha, young Felix abandoned his home planet forever, leaving his spretann cousins to figure things out amongst themselves. While no lord is truly sure what happened to him, the dregs of society know all too well about the disgraced lordling now navigating the criminal underworld, promising great reward to the one who can bring an end to Yusei Harrak.
