About
Yuu Igarashi is the only son of Japanese rock legend, Hiro Igarashi, aka “The Hippopotamus”, and French model Antoinette de Cloutier. His father wanted him to be a rock star just like him, but Yuu’s passion was metal. On a trip to visit his mother’s family in France, he accidentally ended up in Norway, and ended up playing with T//T when their synth player quit right before their first gig. He is a moron.

Hiro Igarashi - “The Hippopotamus”
Father of Yuu Igarashi. A Japanese rock legend and lead singer of the band “チェア・オイントメント” (Chair Ointment). He is a moron. Wanted his son to follow in his footsteps and is utterly confused how Yuu thinks metal is a rebellious act when it’s not that different from rock, it’s not like he’s a classical pianist or something. Earned his nickname when, after his first concert was called “a zoo”, he accidentally said he was a “hippo” (kaba) instead of a “bear” (kuma).
Antoinette de Cloutier
A French model who claims she went to Japan to model, but really went because she was super into J-Rock and wanted to hit up concerts. This is what she did, earning her money by, like, actually modelling. She met Hiro backstage after he opened for another band, and they’ve been together ever since. You’d think she’s the smart one of the family, but it’s only by comparison. She, too, is a moron.
