• name is short for camila
• pink. short. very pink. also a unicorn
• she’s like comically short and angry (5’4) and most unicorns are 5’9-6’8 so its a little funny
• mila typically wears heels to make her appear taller, and she’s always wearing dark colors, specifically burgundy, navy, or just black
• her grandmother and mother raised her, she has a younger sister and rarely talks to any of them anymore except for her grandmother. mila just kind of likes being alone with her women and art and money and doesn’t really need family?? does that make sense??
• her dad left when she was younger because he Did Crime and he’s literally her: he has dreams of grandeur, loves art and language, and traveling; this similarity terrifies mila because she’s scared of becoming a horrible piece of shit
• growing up in a conservative, wealthy environment fucked her up and now she has an inferiority complex and therefore feels the need to be better than everyone else; if someone criticizes anything about her, especially her appearance or experiences, she loses her shit, albeit behind closed doors. in public she is very polite and tries her best to please everyone
  • she is generally very bad at socializing and is. really awkward. like she’ll be really awkward and then go home and freak out about it
• art collector/historian, poet, architect, and author of several books under a pseudonym 
  • she also has a fake id for a "short pink unicorn from genoa named 'benedetta cavallina'" in case she needs to escape the law

  • ...and why would she need to escape the law?? that's funny hahaha she would never need to escape law enforcement for any reason
• she has an obsession with european, specifically italian, renaissance art and she can tell you everything about the birth of venus, the arnolfini portrait, and sandro botticelli’s relationship with simonetta vespucci; she keeps a collection of authentic pieces she’s ….. somehow acquired and also stuff from her grandparents
• shes smart but stupid?? like she has the common sense of a brick and is a terrible driver but if you asked her about the history of neo-andean architecture or why postmodern architecture is a symptom of capitalism or why the nation is falling towards a fascist military junta so yeah she could talk for hours. she has a degree in art history and another in urbanism
• has published a couple of poetry collections but they're really specific and they're about specific love affairs she's had so mila has had to use other pseudonyms besides her well known one. also her non-poetry books are mostly about sad lesbians and forbidden romance and people dying and runaway lovers.
• affiliated with the mandatory underground society of wealthy homosexuals in the 1960s who all know each other and have dinner parties
• her best friend is a wealthy gay supervillain who gets yanked by the dictatorship. there were talks of getting fake married for financial reasons (and also so the infinity rumor mill is quelled) but he got eaten by the political dissident crushing machine
• going broke babey‼️
• got cursed because she did Something Very Stupid
  • she totally did not hire several people to break into an art museum and steal an entire room and turns out the room was cursed
  • OH and she hired those same people to destroy entire logging operations but. completely unrelated 
• her curse? slowly turning into gold
• lives alone in a dilapidated, gilded townhouse near the sea with big windows and a balcony. her sizable antique and art collection is her pride and joy
• womanliker. like she really loves women. also she has abandonment issues
  • has a married and closeted girlfriend(?) that she really hates and really loves it’s very complicated but simply cannot give up
  • theres also this equally unbearable girl she has a thing with but they’re not dating?? it’s also very weird and complicated and cannot be classed as romantic or platonic
  • AND theres another woman she is involved with(?????) who lives across the sea in italy. mila bought her an entire apartment in milan and flies her down to brazil twice a year. out of all of her relationships this one is the least toxic but also the most boring
  • all of these women are the subject of a lot of her work and it’s a really unhealthy obsession
• same universe as rings but definitely pre-space era so she is subject to the same discrimination that wilhelmina faces. also this is the pre climate change era (think late 50s/early 60s)
