Appearance

Rupert is a young human male and quite short. He has roughly cut golden blonde hair and seems more than a little anxious within his own shell. His bright blue eyes avoiding other peoples gaze. He's often found with a book at his side and will often avoid open conversation with others unless he's approched or extremely determind by something he wishes to do.

He wears white and gold robes with a blue hooded cloak that he mostly wears for comfort within himself. His voice holds a very strong Gilnean accent that gives away his home of origin, his voice also holds a stutter that he's never been able to shake since the attack on Gilneas.

Rupert's face is quite disfigured from an attack made on him as a boy, the left side of his face looks as if it went through some sort of meat grinder. With deep tissue scarring and a blind eye that side of his face due to the attack, he clearly prefers the right side of his face as it doesn't look touched at all by whatever did this to him. The scarring over his upper lip forces his lip up to reveal his teeth some.

History

Rupert was raised by his mother who was a single parent but also a healer/physician in Gilneas before the attacks started. She worked day and night to provide for her son but also their little community in the poorer quarters of the city. She cured sickness after sickness and would often treat wounds that the mienrs came home with after being in the mineshafts all day/night long. Rupert picked up his interest in medicine from his mother reading all of her medical books and watching her stitch wounds.

She taught her son from a young age how to deal with open cuts or scrapped knees and even which herbs to use. He was always a very quiet but patient boy, he never really made many friends as most of them bullied him. This was mostly because as a young child a drunk attacked Rupert with a broken glass bottle scarring the little boys face. It left him slightly disfigured and with several nervous twitches including his stutter. After this Rupert's mother never let him out of her sight be extremely protective of her only child.

When the attacks from the Worgen started Rupert and his mother were one of the first to flee from the city. Making it safety because of his mothers skills with a sword and dagger. Despite being a doctor she knew how to defend herself from her roguish lifestyle before she became pregnant and settled down. Her main priority was them getting out alive and uninjured, although she showed concern when her son started showing signs of carrying the worgen curse. She locked him away for his own good and to protect herself from the curse until she found a cure.

Eventually the curse fully took a hold of Rupert and he become a young mindless pup giving in to the beast deep inside of himself. It hurt his mother to see her own boy this way back she forged on finding a way for her son to combat the curse. With her knowledge of herbs she created an injection that kept the beast at bay. Unlike other worgen Rupert cannot change at will and only changes when the injection is either completely burned from his system (either by magic or something else) or runs out.

The two heard news of the Darnassian soldiers lending out aid to the Gilnean citizens and regrouped with everyone else once his mother was confident in her sons ability to control himself and in her serum. They took the boats to Teldrassil but ventured on to Stormwind knowing they had family there that could take them in. He and his mother now live with Rupert's Uncle Roddrick.

Hopes and Ambitions

This boy hopes to become a priest so that he can help others in their troubles and worries. He wants to do much more than just heal people but give them hope and someone to come to when things may not look so good in their lives. His mother is such a big rolemodel in his life and she's always been someone he wants to be like when he gets older.

Incase of emergencies, there are filled syringes of Rupert's serum in his satchel!
