Takumi found his humble home tucked away in a rural hillside in Japan. He is a young kitsune but does his best to take care of the people in the small village who built the temple he resides in. His attempts are misguided at times because there is a lot he doesn't understand about humans yet. Sometimes the blessings he thinks he is bestowing on people are actually quite troublesome. But he is for the most part doing his best.
The only human that can see him is the young Miko who recently started to take care of the aging temple. He was mostly left unvisited untile she started to keep up the place. It was a shock to both of them that she could see him. But they look out for eachother and she often helps Takumi make the correct decisions when it comes to helping out the village folks.
