Shandistus Arucal

A man twice damned.

BACKSTORY
Shandistus Arucal was raised from a battlefield, from an un-death as one of the Horde's Forsaken into a death knight. He was part of the attacking force on the Scarlet Enclave. Despite persisting amnesia about his previous "life", his anxiety stuck with him. He was almost too under-confident for the battlefield, confused by the whisperings of the Lich King, and would've likely been fed to the ghouls if he hadn't began to shadow a more aggressive and cruel death knight named Khyon Icetalon.
The fight against the Scarlet Enclave and the eventual revolt of the Ebon Hold death knights is a blur to Shandistus; most of what he remembers is witnessing Khyon killing her brother as he begged for death, and the sudden feeling of freedom from the Lich King's voice.
Afterwards, he agreed to keep in touch with Khyon, though the war between the Alliance and Horde factions made contact risky and near-impossible. A series of events, however, led to Shandistus abandoning the Horde and traveling with Khyon instead.

PERSONALITY

• has trouble expressing emotions; stuck with a permanent glare
• very quiet, perhaps even partially mute (his malfunctioning jaw doesn't help)
• he can't handle being yelled at. it makes him very nervous and he tends to excuse himself if people are yelling at each other or arguing
• it's easy to hurt his feelings and make him upset, but that's difficult to tell 
• he mostly mows down errant humanoids and wayward, mindless undead. aside from that he'll take almost any violent or gruesome job
• not easy to unnerve, completely unbothered by gore and violence
